Roman this is off-topic but I thought of y’all this morning as I was reading Dr. Morton Walker‘s book called DMSO, natures healer. I read “whole body protection against radiation occurs at the cellular level rather than as an indirect pharmacological mechanism. Topical application of DMSO to the skin of 16 day old nestling rats protects them against X ray induced damage.“ DMSO is truly a wonderous product. A Midwestern Dr. sub stack covers this miracle drug quite well. I’m sure you’re already aware but I just wanted to share what I read with you this morning just in case you had not heard about its protection against radiation.
Hi Gail! Thank you...you know, I look at so many things, that much falls through the cracks sometimes. I appreciate you sharing this - I've heard of DSMO as an anti-fungal as well. Have you tried it out yet yourself?
Remember, fungus are not a problem, they are, just as bacteria, the solution. The key is to correct the reason the fungus needs to come clean up in the first place. That may be exactly what DSMO is doing, rather than being "anti-fungal".
I know! There is so much great information being shared today that has been pooh-poohed by the establishment. From what this book says it has a "vast array of applications. In fact, in the medical and pharmaceutical literature this drug is declared to have the widest range and greatest number of therapeutic actions ever shown for any other single chemical. DMSO show approximately 40 pharmacologic properties that may be advantageous in the prevention, symptomatic relief, or pathology reversal of human organic disease." "seems to grow cumulative in its effect...less is needed to achieve results as time passes." DMSO attacks the disease itself rather than just symptoms" "too dramatically therapeutic to be believed" "anti-inflammatory, bacteriostatic,
fungistatic, and virostatic, stimulates various types of immunity, stimulates healing of wounds, enhances antifungal and antibacterial agents when combined with them" are just a few of its major therapeutic properties. From the book DMSO, Natures Healer by Dr Morton Walker.
See my reply to you under Nick's post on how I personally use it. My sister uses it for severe hip bursitis and said it helps her more than anything else.
By the way, I really enjoy listening to you and Bohdanna and am learning a lot from you two when I get a chance to read and listen. I do not think I personally have a problem with oxalates and I hope I never do! Especially since I just planted a veggie garden with some of those foods! I identified with Bohdanna talking about food sensitivities. I got tested to 100 different foods and was sensitive to eggs, yeast, milk and sesame and followed a 2 day rotation diet years ago and eliminated those from by diet. It was truly amazing...the whites of my eyes got white again, my post-nasal drip went away, I could smell the hay fields, all my senses were heightened to the nth degree, my energy level was tops, I needed much less sleep...I felt so Alive! I followed it almost perfectly for 3 months and then slowly backslid but not totally. I learned what is possible if I just do it!
DMSOstore.com has roll-on that I use on my face for wrinkle reduction and rosacea. It stings for about 15 minutes after application. I just read in the book that applying aloe vera helps prevent the stinging.
I think all illness is toxins and 'symptoms' are the body's efforts at expelling them. Just my opinion. Thinking that we live in a world where everything is out to seek our demise makes no sense to me!
Makes perfect sense! I'm a retired medic and it's incredible how many calls we'd get for fevers and such. This society has made people scared of every little thing. I could have walked in the house when I was kid, holding an amputated body part and my mom would have told me 'get a band-aid'!!
I was just watching Dr. Mary Bowdens interview with Tucker Carlson. She has principles - a spine. She's not afraid to speak her truth using her real name. Not saying I agree with her positions (not that different from amd), but at least she has integrity.
It's sure a mind field out there! I really suffered with Oxalates when I first when ketogenic 10 years ago. I stopped the Almond ingredients many years ago now. Very much heavy on organic soy free pasture raised eggs and organic grass fed meet. I do like lots of fermented foods like Organic Kimchi, pickles and home made yogurts. Since lowering Oxalates I no longer have tight hips and back pain. I've heard Oxalates can be reduced with curtain gut microbes, is this correct?
Hi Nick, great question on the gut microbes. Our ancestors did have oxalobacter formigenes, which helped them break down oxalates. We also discussed this with Sally during our interview with her on The ElectroHealth Summit fyi.
Here's a study on rats showing the protective effects of oxalobacter on renal toxicity:
Oh (sniff, sniff) OK! I may try that. I actually don't eat a lot of nuts, as I'm just not a snacker. But, I do enjoy the nut/seed/cranberry mix that I buy for the possums & raccoons! ( I only have a few bites on the way home from the store). If I don't put food out, they just pound at the door. Hard to sleep with all the racket! LOL!
The symptoms related to high-oxalates seem to me to be related to the body's calcium channels being severely compromised with the introduction of cellphones and high EMFs. Valerian Root is a calcium channel blocker, to restore some of your peace, without changing over all your diet. I believe in the natural power of the body to heal if you rid your surroundings of the microwave frequencies.
I use it like food, not like medicine, so it's according to need. When my body begins to wear down from its exposure, I will sip on it throughout the day without taking the recommended dose--just sip, then at night, the dosage as on the bottle, twice throughout the night if needed.
Haha, You're so sweet to your fury obnoxious friends. What fun! I have a cockatoo that really enjoys de=husking almonds ... so they're a staple around here.
Food/doof has become a mine field in general, so if that tip helps even one person .....
Hey, hey...you can't insult my critters! Well, you kind of can...LOL! I can't have a bird in here- eight cats & nine dogs! My house is already a circus....
My bird has always ruled the roost! Lol She loves giving treats to dogs (& dropping rocks on their heads) & preening the cat. She's literally top dog around here ... It IS a circus ... but one I absolutely LOVE :)
Actually, if you read what Sally Norton has written on this, you can choose an item you love very much, like almonds, and enjoy small amounts to modulate the pace of oxalate dumping. I've never felt deprived controlling oxalates. With gluten intolerance, by contrast, you have to give up things like fresh baked bread for life.
Thank you! I'm going to read her book. Right now, extreme measures are what I need. This environment is intolerable for me. Extreme sensitivity to EMF, hissing tinnitus, and a meningioma, along with other maladies!
I just heard in another podcast that there are more oxalates in the bodies breakdown of meat than in veggies. Could this be the next scare tactic targeting vegetables, which seems so prevalent in these ‘carnivore’ days..? It’s all so confusing …🫤
I think it needs to be looked at from a different perspective. Natural foods are not toxic. However, the environment certainly can make them so as well as the individual's own system reacting. Think about how many people eat unrestricted oxalates (and other substances) with no problem. Once again, it's not the actual food it's toxins and other problems with that particular one and/or the body's reaction. Clean up the food supply, (admittedly difficult even growing your own), and correct the body imbalances and thereby detoxing and getting back to the health one should have so that foods are not an issue, and this includes gluten problems. Yes, I know people will argue that, just like they will so called alpha-gal but it's simply not true that these reactions are normal, or to expect that they will last throughout life. Correct it.
Hi Countrybumpkin, thanks so much for your insights. I agree that a holistic view is best, and often there are many factors, like pesticides, air quality, heavy metals etc to consider. In gluten, glyphosate could be why many are intolerant. With oxalates, wireless radiation could be the reason. Due to their crystal nature, they resonate with background radiation, just like the quartz crystal radios of the 40s. Oxalate toxicity can also slowly build up in the bones, brain organs over time, so it's tough to know who may have symptoms.
It's also in the way we process these ingredients, whereas before we didn't have aggressive helicopter blade blenders, or massive juicers...so it comes back to our environment, lifestyle etc I believe.
Thanks for chiming in - let me know your thoughts on the EMF connection (many who stop eating oxalates no longer get tinnitus, and again, our ears have crystals that resonate with electromagnetic frequencies to hear).
Something else, (this comment is going to show above my previous one), that needs to be considered and that is that when a person is in the right frequency state disease cannot exist. This is why there are what appear to be spontaneous healings of various symptoms, even very advanced cancer that can disappear in days to hours. Dissolved. Vaporized. Because all things are frequency and when beneficial frequencies are held then the harmful unhealthy ones cannot exist. Think of how a singer can hit the right note and hold it and burst a crystal glass. So if one thinks 5g weapons but in reverse you have your answer to health. Easier said than done but it is attainable and many do it every day. This is also why diet changes and the like are really just a temporary measure and do not address the root. Think of how structuring water removes the impurities. How blessing foods changes the composition. How love and intention work.
We are one big crystal, structured water and electricity so it stands to reason that any unnatural EMFs can be harmful, and probably are even though some appear to not be as affected as others. Again, there are so many factors to any one condition, symptom, dis-ease, etc that it's literally impossible to narrow down. Short of a physical injury, (which will also have emotional and electrical associations), there are multiple reasons for any symptom at any given time, and this can change from person to person and also in the same individual at any given time. Trauma plays a huge part in dis-eased symptoms but is rarely recognized as a contributor and often due to the fact that is is not consciously remembered by many. It's hidden and until fully healed no matter what other steps one takes to heal and live healthy one or another condition may continue to appear in time. Sometimes we forget that a common, (not normal but common), symptom can have a different source for different individuals. Think a "common cold" set of symptoms. Or cancer. Or anxiety, or MS, or RA, or any and everything. This is why double blind studies are worthless. There simply are too many variables to account for. Waste of time and money but is job security for many, not to mention the "treatments" drummed up by such studies. As per tinnitus, and any other condition, one has to look at the number of people that were not "cured" by using any given treatment or change in diet, or environment, hence pointing to the multi-factorial aspect of any symptom. Personally, I can tell when I've become overloaded with toxins, (regardless of source and this includes worry, emotional stress, etc), because I will become very sensitive to smells and chemicals. Once I clear those I am "normal" again. This only happened initially after some strong smart meter exposures and mold, which took me over a year to figure out. Total body burden is a key component to consider, and again, the emotional/mental component is all too often overlooked.
I have been practicing low-oxalate eating for the past two years. It does help reduce my sensitivity, and my health has improved in multiple ways, similar to what you have reported. I get occasional setbacks, but that is said to be normal, as the body continues expelling sequestered oxalate for a long time. At about the one year point, a lot of people have trouble with clearing--trying to get it to slow down. I became able to tolerate others' cellphones better, but find I have a delayed reaction, which suggests that EMFs may cause the crystals to be expelled.
A worry I have is that I have become too lenient toward others' cellphone use near me, and this may result in health issues later.
I will want to look into the DMSO Gail mentions here.
The foods you suggest people stop eating are ones that are really good for healthspan. Those who know anything about a healthy diet will realize this is a terrible suggestion for a "healthy diet". Right up there with the suggestion to limit fruits and vegetables because they contain sugar, so diabetics should avoid them,
I think the body can handle a lot, as long as it has enough salt. Adding more natural salt (like Celtic sea salt) can help restore balance in the body and support the excretion of oxalates.
I’ve been a vegetarian my entire life (no meat or fish), and last year I clearly reached a point of salt under-saturation — which manifested in some really weird physical symptoms. It made me think, “What the heck is going on? I eat healthy, I live clean, I drink tons of distilled water...”
I had no idea how crucial salt/sodium actually is. And of course, those restrictive salt guidelines didn’t help at all. (WTF!$%^&*)
I should’ve been told decades ago about the importance of salt — but that never happened. And we all know why.
"It's that I ran across a Substack about the subject at the end of last year, which made me an aware salt lover ;) https://jane333.substack.com/"
I had a kidney stone about 3 yrs ago, from a high oxalate diet - all those "super foods"! It was the most horrific pain I've ever experienced in my life, worse than labor with my first child (it was bad - really bad!). I had to cut down/cut out a lot of foods, like nuts, green tea, etc.
I got Sally Norton's book, and started taking her advice. I don't totally deprive myself of these foods, but I'm careful with them.
One must understand that it's not the high oxalate diet that causes the stones, it takes more than that to create kidney stones, just as with anything else. Not eating oxalates may change or eliminate the symptoms you see but are you really addressing the underlying cause? Not usually, no.
P.S. I just used the phrase, "country bumpkin" to describe myself to someone (after I did something a bit dorky), and I don't think I've ever used that phrase, haha!
In your opinion, what might be some other contributing factors? I realize you don't know anything about my lifestyle, but I won't be offended by your guesses or opinions. Thanks!
Oh, and my comment below on contributing factors applies to the person in question, not the particular food or substance. However, there are just about as many influences on any given food or substance we ingest or are in contact with at any given time as well. This is one reason, one of the more simplistic ones, that people who can't eat bread here in the US can go to France and eat bread to their heart's content without problems. Same with dogs being "allergic" to chicken now. It's not chicken that's the problem, it's THAT chicken, (and then the dog's current state of health as well).
I am not sure how I could make this answer short, let alone sensical. Having said that, here's my best shot....
The list of contributing factors could be, literally, nearly endless, or at least the combinations of such could be. Remember Algebra and the endless combinations of ordered pairs you can make out of a few numbers or factors? Let's think for a moment just how many differences there are even in identical twins. Then think of how those differences can and do change over time. Think of how you are impacted minute by minute with outside influences, including your own thoughts and perceptions. Even blood tests are mostly pointless because the blood is constantly changing to keep you alive. It responds second by second and so does your nervous system. Any stressor will have an effect on your body processes and responses and whether that particular one(s) create a noticeable dis-eased symptom or not is really not determinable. Remember, a stress is anything from any source that puts a physical, emotional, mental, physiological, spiritual strain of any level on a system. Added up they become problems and the level that must be attained before noticeable ill health is obvious will vary by individual as well as that particular body burden at the time the stress is put on the body. For example, while we know genetics is a non issue, the environment we are in is an issue. How you react to any stressor can make or break you. As you are aware I'm sure, some people can smoke for 70 years and have no discernable ill health symptoms. Yet, another person can smoke for 10 and die of "lung cancer". Are we perhaps labeling things incorrectly? Yes, yes we are. Another example could be weight. There are many who are overweight but yet seem to have no serious health issues, while others who appear to be quite the perfect weight and good muscle tone and eat healthy "get" cancer. Why? Contributing factors. Known and unknown. Remember that the most powerful contributor for and to life is the mind, the intentions, the thoughts and beliefs. They build your world, inside and out. Where trauma creates problems, even many decades after an event, (it's not the event that harms but rather the wound it leaves which can vary from person to person with the same event), is how it affects the nervous system. The body will show you sooner or later that you suffered a great harm and need to correct it, but few realize that is the problem and search for more obvious contributors, usually ones that can be "tested" for and then "diagnosed". These include MS, Fibromyalgia, RA, Diabetes, Migraines, Cancer, Covid and all supposed "viral infections", Lyme, Malaria, Ebola, Bipolar syndrome, Autism, Tinnitus, Angina, Cardiovascular Disease, COPD, and so forth and so on. There is almost always more than one cause for any symptom and things need to come together to create dis-ease. There are no cut and dried diseases or conditions and therefore no cut and dried treatments. It truly is individual. We've probably all known people who up and died whether from heart attack or cancer and yet everyone thought they were the epitome of healthy living. Contributing factors. Live, observe, live, observe more, learn.
I could go on and bore (and confuse?) you even more but I do have a heart and will stop now.
I'm starting to think that maybe just not eating would be the way to go.... I'm not vegan but I love spinach and sweet potatoes, etc! One of my favorite snacks is a nut and seed mixture with dried cranberries. I actually buy it for 'my' critters that I feed on my porch, but on the way home from the store, I snack on it. (insert giant frumpy face here) I try to eat a clean diet, don't really snack much and of course, I thought turmeric was essential for inflammation! (insert another giant frumpy face)... Life gets confusing. I missed the book/author you were referring- my brain fog is thick. I tried to go back to catch the name, but could you give me that info? Once again- awesome information! Thanks!
I have substituted dandelion greens for spinach. I don't have it every day, but now and then for nutrition. I still grow my own turmeric, but use coconut oil to extract the curcumin. (Bottle on a sunny window sill, but not too many days, because the light will destroy the curcumin.) I tried the same with cumin, but it seems to miss some of the flavor, so I will add just a bit of ground cumin. Check out Sally K. Norton.
Thank you! I will say that I grow a wonderful dandelion crop every year! I have tried growing turmeric & ginger, but I never have success. I never give up, however!

Love DMSO, truly amazing for all things including detoxing and getting over a cold etc. Or is it all just detoxing ;0)
Hi Nick - thanks for sharing this. Do you have a link or a particular brand? Medical grade is of course the best, then there is veterinary etc.
I use Dr Moran’s medical grade made in Germany.
Agreed Stephanie - our bodies natural inclination is to repair, not get sick. I love this group for that reason! All of us have that growth mindset.
I'm always open AND searching for info!
Same here. The only way to be. Have to go with your gut instinct on a lot of things.
I agree. When I've become sick I've wrapped myself up and made myself very hot and uncomfortable for hours. I seem to recover very quickly.
Makes perfect sense! I'm a retired medic and it's incredible how many calls we'd get for fevers and such. This society has made people scared of every little thing. I could have walked in the house when I was kid, holding an amputated body part and my mom would have told me 'get a band-aid'!!
I was just reading a repost of AMD on Mercola this morning.
Always wondered why he doesn't use his real name.
I think AMD is a conglomerate of individuals, and have my theories about "him" which I'm happy to share offline.
If a doctor is still 'practicing', they'll be cancelled, or worse, for speaking against medical dogma.
I was just watching Dr. Mary Bowdens interview with Tucker Carlson. She has principles - a spine. She's not afraid to speak her truth using her real name. Not saying I agree with her positions (not that different from amd), but at least she has integrity.
Spines and testicles are in short supply these days.... Not on here, of course! Just in general...
Sad but true.
I agree. I obviously don't know who AMD is, so just speculation. I've wondered if it's someone using AI, as the articles are lengthy...
Maybe...

That’s great, I’ll take a look thank you 🙏
And I love almonds....Ok then, I need to go sit in the corner and cry!
I make reverse almond tea to help remove oxalates .... boil the almonds & drain the water ...throw water out. Roast almonds to bring back the crunch .
I just tried frying the almonds in coconut oil .... they turned out AWESOME! ... NO need to cry...we have work arounds :)
Oh (sniff, sniff) OK! I may try that. I actually don't eat a lot of nuts, as I'm just not a snacker. But, I do enjoy the nut/seed/cranberry mix that I buy for the possums & raccoons! Boil for how long?
Just bring to boil & then turn down & let steep for 2-3 minutes. It's not an exact science. :) You'll notice the water turning brackish.

Hey Roman and Bodannah, this is great to hear. I love that you are embracing low oxalate eating.
Whilst you are still eating some, you will not have many symptoms of oxalate dumping. They can be horrific.
I embraced a carnivore/low (clean) keto way of eating last year and gained back the muscle I lost being a vegetarian......
People around me thought I had cancer when I stopped eating meat because of the weight I lost, but it was muscle, not fat!!
I get many compliments on my skin now I have changed the way I eat and feel so much better too.
Great work guys

Personally, I can tell when I've become overloaded with toxins, (regardless of source and this includes worry, emotional stress, etc), because I will become very sensitive to smells and chemicals. Once I clear those I am "normal" again. This only happened initially after some strong smart meter exposures and mold, which took me over a year to figure out. Total body burden is a key component to consider, and again, the emotional/mental component is all too often overlooked.
Long winded answer to a simple question......
Right up there with the suggestion to limit fruits and vegetables because they contain sugar, so diabetics should avoid them,
Thanks for the nice interesting talk.
I hear you...these are my thoughts, you just said them better.
