With regard to neurodegeneration it may be helpful to look at what the brain needs and what is toxic. The brains half dry weight is cholesterol/lipids/fat which is replaced every 10 months so it needs large amounts of cholesterol. Iodine is required for the brain to work properly which 95% of us are deficient in it. Iodine is required also for every cell in the body. Statins inhibit the brains ability to make cholesterol and inhibits cellular repair and replacement of the organs and hormones. D3 which is a super hormone is required for every cell that is tissue based through the VDR including the brain. Dr Coimbra has been using high dose D3 to reverse autism and alzheimer's.
What not to put in the brain: 42 out of 45 vaccines have aluminum adjuvants and as demonstrated by Dr Christopher Exley brain biopsies show toxic levels of aluminum in autism and alzheimer patients. Based on Robert Vogel (University of Kentucky) May 2025 study shows the average male consumes over 4lb of aluminum in food and drink annually.
Supplement D3 and Lugols Iodine and quit eating aluminum and injecting it. The best book I have read on human health is Healing is Voltage The Handbook by Dr Jerry Tennant.
Hi Stuart, thanks for mentioning iodine, along with everything else. Like so much in life and healing, it's what we don't do that gives us the results. "First do no harm" has become an afterthought by the medical community it seems.
Iodine is especially useful when it comes to flushing fluoride out of the system. How much of a dosage do you take?
a friend's son (age 43) who went to med school in israel learned a different oath "you have to do some harm to do good" believe it or not. (actually, makes sense if your medical model is big pharma and current "modern" medical practices) . i don't know what they are teaching now in US medical schools, but have heard the hippocratic oath is no longer taught. (i do not know if this is true).
I worked up to 50mg daily (LugoTab) from Hakala Labs. I did their loading test and found I was deficient at 15mg/day. At 50mg/day I did have a Herxheimer reaction, headaches and a bit jittery which lasted a week. I was probably pushing out bromide/chlorine. I am not sure about iodine/iodide pushing out fluoride. Fluoride is at the top of the Periodic Table and a much larger mass than iodine. Iodine can push out mercury and chlorine dioxide will break down mercury. Fluoride will push out iodine and create a fake T4 with 4 fluorides attached to a tyrosine protein instead of 4 iodines. The standard thyroid panel is over 20 years out of date. This change will not be picked up in blood tests. Fluoride will destroy the thyroid over time and the person will need Synthroid/desecrated thyroid hormones. The sad part is iodine is also required for our immune system and cellular secretion, so the typical MD has no clue about this and does not correct the lack of iodine. The best resource I have found on how our bodies work is Healing is Voltage The Handbook by Dr Jerry Tennant. He figured out the Chinese circuits in our body and how it relates to transfer of electrons and rewrites what is taught in medical schools.
Thanks Stuart for your thoughtful reply. Not surprising on the T4 tests being out of date. I wonder how effective those fluoride filters for water are...I've heard Dr. Jack Kruse say how the only thing that can flush out fluoride are massive amounts of iodine. I'll need to look into the details on that. How do you mitigate fluoride in your water?
When someone says massive amounts of iodine I guess the question is how much? I believe boron can help with fluoride but I have not seen evidence of iodine/iodide pushing out fluoride. Where I live fluoride is not put in the county water. I stopped using toothpaste with fluoride and don’t have fluoride put on my teeth. I drink bottled water that probably has plastic in it. I can’t afford the expensive filter systems. Dr Jerry Tennant recommends Ph-Prescription which is superior to ionic devices and removes fluoride. Hakala Labs can test urine for iodine, fluoride, bromide etc.
Great article and some wonderful tips(scarf). I do have a question... what are your thoughts on LED red light therapy systems? From what I understand about LED lights I would think that they wouldn't be ideal for many reasons but alot of people swear by them while minimizing the possible risks or shortcomings. I really like the red light system you suggested and feel like it would be much more beneficial for about the same price point(full body led panels are about $5k. Thank you for all the info you provide!
Hi Kaci, great question! While red light is still beneficial, technically LEDs are not natural. There are lasers, pinpointed for certain conditions, acute injuries, etc in my opinion, whereas a spherical, incandescent bulb is something we as humans are much more receptive/ biologically attuned toward. Here's an article if you want to geek out on the science:

The sun is a sphere, our eyes are a sphere, we are meant to receive and emit light spherically, not in a beam. Does that make sense?
Thank you so much for your reply! And yes, it makes alot of sense.
Fantastic! Always a pleasure. Feel free to email w/ more questions as I sometimes lose comments in the thread : roman@thepowercouple.ca
Well that was easy to read, understand, and share. I like the hard difficult, things you tackle, too.
Thank you Charlene! I always appreciate your insightful comments. Good to know how you found this helpful.
Nice summary, though I am pretty sure that it is our pupils that are black, not our irises :)
Ah! Good catch. Yes the pupil is in the iris. Thank you I corrected it.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful resource Timothy. You've given me some food, or shall I say water, for thought.
Interesting.
