I am extremely interested in this topic, and I am also involved with another healthy LED line, www.pure-light.com , for shopping https://pure-light.com/collections/retail-shoping

These lights were designed to deal with airborne contaminants, be they biological or chemical, and they have a titanium dioxide coating, which produces superoxide and can effectively deal with airborne pollution. Regular airfilters handle particulates, but the lights can handle airborne pollutants. They also emit more red than blue. So, the design criteria were not primarily about the red light, but more about air pollution, but the effect is a notably healthier light.

I know that some of the problems with LEDs and that they flicker and they create dirty electricity. I wasn't clear if this new bulb solved either of those. I use only incandescents and don't find that they burn out that often. I am in BC and although I stocked up years ago, found that I can still get rough service incandescents at Home Depot and Canadian Tire. I suspected that fluorescent lights caused skin cancer (basal cell) on my husband's ear when he was in a care home and for the last few years, I am only under fluorescents when shopping and wondered if that is why I now rarely get sick. I hate daylight savings time and decided to stick to standard time last year. It was great. I just have to remember that my appointments are an hour earlier than posted.

Apologize for the laziness, have not been able to watch the video yet.

Does anybody know about the flicker on these bulbs? Thank you

Hi TH. No worries. Appreciate you being here. The DC lamps and 2nd gen AC lamps have less than 3% flicker at full brightness - so definitely a solid choice compared to any LED on the market. Does that help clarify?

Barely awake but With eyes of deep intent, looking straight at Roman, a guy with good logic and a great heart of love for his fellow man, I woke up from my semi slumber with piqued excitement at 13:25 when Scott started going off on his disappointment that the govt cancelled a project to study Covid transmission but, but... fortunately kept his cool and softly moved this poor lost soul of the covid cult to the next topic seamlessly and beautifully. Let's see, "infection, transmission 99% indoors (how does it really spread so fast Scotty?), pathogen, fortify defenses"....what's the next thing Fauci's gonna hire this guy.

Unfortunately I hate daylight savings time. We live by a bunch of neighbors who shoot guns all the time and the dark is the only time we can be a bit relaxed. They think it is their right to make noise all hours of the day. I believe in protecting yourself but I also believe in the fact that we are all neighbors on top of each other in the country and should have common courtesy. I now have two dogs suffering from ptsd because the guns and the fireworks that never seem to stop all year long. Bring on the dark and bring back the winter.

I love daylight savings time and while I can understand the farmers situation, I don't understand why it is unhealthy for us in general. As a woman I feel safer having more evening time that is light. I can hike in the evening, swim, or go out to an event and it is light outside when I come out, so I am more likely to go out in the evening. I associate DST with more fun, not shopping. In addition with the LED headlights on cars ubiquitous it is easier to drive when it is light out. I can see why the change every season is unhealthy, so let's have DST year round! You haven't convinced me it is unhealthy to live in it year round.

Hi Sabrina! thank you for chiming in. I see where you're coming from, it's mainly that the fluctuation is unhealthy for most of us. The fall back time (November) is the true time, so I think it's optimal for most of us to be in sync with it.

However the sun runs not on a 24-hr, but closer to a 25-hr cycle, so keep seeing the sunrise as you are - that's the best way to ward off the issues with mood, digestion, etc. Many people aren't at your level, and need tools like not installing the wrong light, which will make it worse, and installing the right light into their eye (am sun, no blue light)

Personally, I don't like DST as it's much busier later in the day, more headlights, at the time of what was once a quiet, serene sunrise. Does that make sense?

The kid in me loves to play as late in the evening as possible, get another walk in, etc and I don't have to turn on artificial light inside (bootlegged incandescent) before bed, but I hear you, we are all different. Thanks for all you do!

What about those of us that are "morning people"? Some of us rarely go outside in the evening.

The DST changes don't impact me as much as perhaps they do others since I don't live by "clock". I haven't used an alarm clock in the past twenty years.

well I don't live by the clock either, I get up with the sunrise and go outside and soak it in, but if it's 7:30 or 6:30 or whatever doesn't matter to me, my body feels sun is rising and gets up.

Yes. Please can we stop using LED headlights ? Disarming while driving.and some are virtually blinding.
