I have two kids. never used a baby monitor.

my now-ex and I were not exactly your normal western parents though. cloth diapers, no injections, home based education for the first 11 years of my oldest's existence (first 7 of my youngest's.) Off topic, I was sad when it became necessary to deal with two incomes to get by and the kids got sent to the Indoctrination Station known as public school. that destroyed my older child's education entirely (and led her down the path of juvenile delinquency) as they refused to make her do classwork and tests because she learned acting out would free her from the work everyone else was expected to do.

I am a bit of a technophile, so our domiciles were never EMF free. likely less irradiated than many though.

Thanks for sharing that insight. Sounds like you've gained a lot of perspective in those 11 years, more than most. I hear you on the national fool system. I learned more in life watching adults interact as a child than I did in books.

Re: EMF it's all about reducing what we can at this point. A lot isn't going away, but like they say, the ocean is in every drop.

Any new EMF reduction strategies you're taking, or do on a daily basis? shutting wi-fi off at night? hardwiring your phone/ tablet? Thanks again for the comment.

my house has 10" thick cement walls and is mostly buried, so outside emf pretty much only comes in through the roof, windows, and wiring (metal clad door.)

I use Ethernet for speed. but generally don't worry about my emf exposure.

considering a phone pouch with metal lining the side which faces me, as cellular is the highest power emf I often have in the dangerous zone of inverse square law for radiation strength.

as a long time mechanic and electronics hobbyist, I've verified experimentally that my system handles chemical/metal/airwave toxicity way, way better than most people's. should I notice negative effects start to build up from any of that I'll limit exposure further.

My son has serious epilepsy. I use a monitor to make sure I hear him during the night when he seizes. I would not want to sleep through that.

Thank you for sharing that Patti. I would feel the same as you. To clarify - it's not about not monitoring our children. What upsets me is that parents have been given these tools thinking they're safe, all the while harming their children even more. My heart goes out to you and all parents who are trying to provide the best care for their children.

I totally get it and will look at the monitors suggested. Not a techie so it is a bit overwhelming as are most things these days!! 😀

Without me, there is nothing.

It seems arrogant to believe my ears were the only ones created to hear the sound of energy rushing and cresting through a confine of space. I Am certain the heavens declare the glory of God outside of my hearing most of the time.
