Very interesting. People with PD are also told to stay out of the sun because they are supposed to have an increase risk of melanoma. I was looking into the melanin-dopamine link just last week [we are having our week of high summer in the UK], but hadm't considered that it could penetrate and make more neuromelanin....

My neighbor is in severe PD, and though I am a sun seeker, he gets darker than me every summer.

And he has to go inside of it gets really hot, not for skin cancer but more like heat exhaustion.

And maybe it's because he doesn't eat very healthy and takes L-Dopa, but you sure cannot guess the sun is helping at all.

Frequently, I have to unlock his door because he can't do it.

So helpful, as I have a friend diagnosed last year with PD. Saw her Saturday for dinner, and hand tremors now are obvious. Thank you for your work.

Thanks so much Via...wow must be hard to see. I have family with PD. Would she be open to seeing the Sunrise and/or Sunset each day, but even more importantly eliminating blue light at night?

Thx for your reply! I imagine yes on both. She's a farmgirl at heart(farm still in family after ~250 years. I go to do her veg. garden for her, will be returning next week-ish. We were almost (but for one intervening house) next door neighbors for ten yrs, 37 yrs ago.

Really learn from you guys. Interested to hear about the psoriasis results, none for eczema. I’m having an acute outbreak of eczema and cannot bear to be in the sun as it almost feels like it’s burning where I already feel burning, had contemplated trying some infra red but bit wary.
