Sunlight, specifically UVb (290-310 or so nanometers works wonders).

I do not have white light by me at night, but utilize infrared (IR) light now. There is a brief on molecular jackhammers with IR and a receiver that crosses the blood brain barrier bbb that is useful for educational DIY purposes.

I use an LED lamp, full spectrum for growing plants indoors, used as my craft light. Is it actually bad for my eyes?

Yes especially before / after sunrise/set. Blue light disrupts hormones and switches us from growth hormone to cortisol/ stress response

I have a question about light bulbs that maybe you can help me with. I believe that the LED light bulbs they are forcing on us are terrible for our health, not to mention the quality of light. I stocked up on incandescent light bulbs a while back, but now that they have completely banned them as of Aug. 1, do you know where I can order more? I would love to see an article on light bulbs.

Clear incandescent bulbs give off a nice calm, yellow hue . I believe the new law limits them to be 40 W maximum and labeled appliance bulbs, unless they are frosted which would change the spectrum.

Sometimes you can find incandescent light bulbs at yard/thrift/estate sales, or secondhand stores.

Here are the points that inspire my thinking:

1. "Did you know that two-thirds of the energy our bodies require come from light, while only one-third comes from food." I didn't know this but for myself it makes total sense, and I am glad you stated this. Also, Roman, I think--and if I am wrong, forgive me--that most people don't get hardly, if any Sunshine, and if they do, they use very toxic sunscreen which blocks the UV light they need to synthesize the Vitamin D and Melatonin.

2. "We may make serotonin in our gut, but digestion begins in our skin and eyes." I love this! Yes, absolutely.

3. An awesome bit of new details to explore . . . "We have another cave called the substantia nigra, which in Latin means “black substance.” This area of our brain is coated with a dark pigment called neuromelanin. Neuromelanin, like the melanin of our skin, is an electronic circuit that works by absorbing light. Neuromelanin absorbs infrared light, whereas the melanin of our skin absorbs UV." I will look further into to this. I followed the link to the references from Dr. Stephani Senoff and to your article "The Darkest Corner of your Brain Needs Light".

As I mentioned in my email a few days ago, food with bright colors, helps the skin too. The DHA and EPA are good, but many people can't get the fish fresh or just can't get it at all. Sun people especially with lily white skin, when we come to the tropics, can adapt and protect their skin from the Sun when they eat the brightly colored fruit high in Vitamin C and beta carotene. Our body converts beta carotene rich foods to Vitamin A, which helps the liver and kidneys during the steps of the conversion of the UV light to Vitamin D. It also helps us absorb Vitamin D properly. The bright colored phyto-nutrients are essential to protect the skin and the eyes.

One more tidbit to share: skin cancer isn't from the Sun. I have found that it is the toxicity in the blood. The Sun pulls the toxins, especially sugar and alcohol, and bad PUFAs out of skin, also drugs and hormones, and these fermented toxins infect the skin, causing skin cancer. . . This is my own observation while living in the tropics and working with many toxic people with skin cancer. . . . If the blood is clean, you can't get skin cancer from the Sun.

The EMF/sunshine part is making your stack uniquely useful.

I'm not here to do any nitpicking, but I hope that my observations might contribute.

The following sounds like direct support of the criminal compartmentalization of "Medicine":

There are a few problems with it:

1. it measures only up to 40GHz, but 5G can operate up to 100 (as far as I know, it's been enabled "only" up to 80), and while over 30 it makes people sick (which can already imitate a new "pandemic"), the instant killer operates from 45 and up.

2. Without a control device, there is no way of reliably calibrating it.

3. Such devices usually operate only if "location" is turned on on them, making them more than suspicious; they are volunteering information about exposure levels, and the victims are even paying for them.

4. Even if somebody could afford $1,400 for the complete set, what could they do about its damaging impact?

Great question! We get outside each morning for the Sunrise. I try to get outside with no shirt on for at least 20 min per day, even on the coldest of days, in the AM, and again at noon. This helps with subcellular melatonin. Are you in Canada?

We sold our house in 2022 and most of our “stuff” and travel the west full time.

Boy do we get sun.

Best thing about full-timing..... my living room is nature and so many spots have no signal..... it’s pretty Devine.

Best take away for me besides feeling healthier out here is meeting all the wonderful random people from so many walks of life. I swear after we meet new folks I feel energized and It just feels so good.

I don’t buy all this division.... like I said we have met people from every walk of life in all corners of the west.

Hoping these experiences of connecting with others is also keeping my health up cause it sure feels great connecting with people along our journey

Another terrific read - and thankyou for the mention. I would like to know more about needing UV for dopamine production, and the link between melanin and dopamine. On the melatonin-dopamine link, there was a group in Australia which was using light therapy at night to modulate melatonin in people with PD. The thesis was that dopamine and melatonin are antagonostic, so rebalance dopamine by decreasing melatonin. It seemed to work well. The same group injected dopamine into the eyes of mice, and found that tiny amounts could alleviate the symptoms of PD mice. I just took a look at your link - wow! Now I just need to clone myself so I can go through all the data. An astounding resource. I watched the video on that page re: dopamine and melatonin, and it reminded me of the connection to melanocytes. It seems that melanin is really a miracle molecule that can do so much for us, including building our reservoir of both dopamine and melatonin. This is why wearing sunglasses is so detrimental, as we secrete melanocyte hormone (MSH) when we see Sunlight.

What about people who wear just regular eyeglasses? Is that also blocking the benefits of sunlight to the eyes? I’m not wearing them in my profile photo but It do wear glasses.

Great question Cynthia...you know, I'm not totally sure- but most glasses have UV-B blocking built in, which can disrupt our hormones. You should be ok as long as you get some sunlight and are outside in the AM. Contacts are definitely no bueno.
