I'm a reader. I can read in a minute what it takes 30 min to listen to. I know other people are listeners and/or watchers. And I will also listen or watch on occasion. But one of the marvels of Substack is all the amazing written content I get and can enjoy, day after day, I couldn't take in a fraction of it, if I were listening. It would take all day. So though I am sure the information is wonderful and extremely relevant, I will pass. Now, the irony of it: I am creating a Truth Summit, INTERVIEWING people, including you. In other words, to enjoy the Summit, people will have to take the time to listen.I have had a couple of people ask for transcripts, as this would be quicker for them, and I've had to say no, as it would take too much of my time!!

Thank you Elsa for your feedback! I do appreciate it. My wife and I created this podcast more from a labor of love, and also to cater to those who do only listen and don't read as much. I have to agree with you though- I can digest 12 x more if I read (:

As I was having some breakfast (and so could not read), I did listen to a few minutes - yes, junk thoughts can mess us up. Then, breakfast over, I left the podcast. I am completely with you: some people are listeners, and good to have something for them. It was a fun talk flow between you and your wife.

It seems to me the new humans would prefer to watch or listen. It’s why YouTube and TikTok are popular. Short form videos under 60 seconds.

Short attention span theater.

Same with video ads. I can’t stand them.

Give me the written word instead.

Maybe the new humans can’t comprehend the written word. Perhaps reading comprehension is almost zero.

Perhaps illiteracy is right around the corner.

I remember being unable to stomach People when I picked up a copy at the dentist's. No single story. Jumping from one thing to another. Bits of bio (2 lines) from other people on every page. On the other hand I appreciate something short - when it is a short bit of information, or a simple idea. Mike Adams - I'm allergic. In his videos, he will go on for an hour about whatever is of interest to HIM. I will listen (sometimes) for a minute.

This junk food, if too much is ingested, can hinder both our physical and mental health. Sometimes I need to watch myself before I become addicted to it.
