Until reading your piece "the sun we can't see" and "how we digest light" last nite, i did not realize that increasing melanin by sun exposure can help with EHS. I just subscribed because you are able make these challenging biophysics concepts like retinal pathways, melanin, POMC, electron transport chain, etc understandable. I subscribe to Jack Kruse, who is brilliant, but half the time i don't know what he is talking about on his technical blogs.

Thank you Yantra, from Bohdanna and I. We truly value your contribution. I love Jack Kruse too - who inspired me to kick it up a notch back in 2017 regarding light and EMF. I'm honored by your comment. My goal is to make EMF so simple that even a child can understand it, so it's good to know I'm on the right path! (not that you're a child of course)

Melanin is truly a miracle molecule.

How long have you been aware of the health impacts of EMF or experienced symptoms?

ps, btw, that was close to 50 yrs ago. (: but the since the accelerated ramp-up of RF didn't really start till the mid 90s, although i was very sensitive to cigarettes, hydrocarbons and chemicals in general, i was pretty okay until that time, when i suddenly developed insomnia. One weird thing: when i was living out in the country in N CA in ~1984 and would get on the freeway for my brief commute, all of a sudden ammonia-like fumes would start arising from my chest!! Since reading Jack's blog OSF #4 human prions, where he said ~1/2 way thru regarding cysteine & copper, "the collateral damage is that you become a transition metal collector in your extracellular space, effectively making you an exquisite EMF antenna" (which i am), i have wondered if that ammonia reaction had something to do with all this.

Can you be a little more specific about morning light? Is that sunrise till 3 hours later? Ten minutes later? When does it go from beneficial red to harmful blue? And can this be gotten in Northern, winter, cloudy climes or does beneficial red light come thru clouds?

Hi Roman I use near infrared sometimes when I take Methylene Blue. It bumps up the activity of the MB and is being studied by researchers for its effect on dementia. There's a retired doc in the UK that is getting positive results with just the helmet like cap that she's developed.

I use the near IR pads for pain relief and it works. I will say that used with the MB it expotentiates the effect it has in the cells.
