I'm right on the path of the eclipse! But I slept through it. If you've seen one eclipse... Love that picture of the heavenly eclipse, and the A.J.Casson. Big Group of Seven fan. And I love real cows. Cows are nice.
I stopped by the butcher, he was just coming out of the fridge with a huge rack of beautifully marbled ribs "Want some? Kill date March 7th." "YES! Gimme an inch and a half off the small end."
I see what you did there - it's time to discern how to diss Cern! I'll never be able to hear the word "discern" without it's alter spelling and meaning! I've been thinking the same thing - what could possibly go wrong? And who is funding the LCH in Cern?
Cool reflections, Roman. Nice day here in the sunny South. Visited a friend in an urban area. We projected the sun on black poster board with a monocular to witness the 80% eclipse. It was fun watching people elsewhere go nuts over such a peaceful sunny event.
1. the area the sun is blocked on earth is quite small compared to the whole daylight side, so the ionosphere is blocked from the sun's rays in a small place and only for about 4 min in any location in the path of totality that is constantly moving. It is hard to understand what problems this can cause.
2. The earth eclipses the sun every day, the edge of the sun moving on and off the ionosphere every sunrise and sunset, and there is no sun all night but the world is still ok. To me any consternation seems unfounded as also noted in one of the vids you link.
3. On gravity, the sun and moon are frequently in close alignment to each other in the sky even if not an eclipse but is alignment important? This paper
"large quakes such as those that hit Chile and Tohoku-Oki occurred near the time of maximum tidal strain — or during new and full moons when the Sun, Moon and Earth align."
but also says there are too many factors, which is also my opinion, besides the fact that the earthquake makers at HAARP probably want to have as many diversions as possible, "It's not us, it's the sun and the moon!"
I have a landline only, but was convinced to switch to fiber optic line, from copper as they are phasing copper out anyway. The fiber optics have to be plugged into power, so they do not work when there is a power outage.
This company has a hub that keeps Wifi/Lan going over fiber optic even if there is a blackout and you could make calls over internet app. and I think land line will continue to work as well.
Although, I must say; The heat of the suns rays was quite intense on the 7th day of April! I worked out of doors, and have felt the intensity, similar to that of radiation in the air!
"our misleaders on earth"--very nice. Only seeing this post now, so late to the pre-party. I did choose to spend most of the day outside, grubbing out the forsythia stumps from our plantings of 35 years ago to replace them with a new planting of raspberries and elderberries. Potted up all the tomato seedlings, weeded the asparagus. I did observe, around 3 (Philadelphia area) a dimming of the light; my neighbor, also doing gardening chores, allowed that his eyes saw the same. Kind of like gardening at twilight.

What time is dinner?
Dinner? No dinner for me. I did buy a two pound rib steak, aged and beautifully marbled. Was that a cow reference?
I'm on/off fasting. So no dinner today. But the next dinner, tomorrow or the next day, is going to be yummy.
Yes, certainly - CoW Wah. Mmmmbeef! Buon Appitite tomorrow.

Cows are ever awesome.
Sound like the crust is your fave ;) Njoy!

Walked out on my balcony, aimed my GoPro at the eclipse for a few seconds, and went back inside to work.
This planet has enough cell towers as it is now we need mobile ones?!?!? lol
Did you put a filter in front of your GoPro?
Naw but the pics came out alright.
Hey John, I used a filter on my camera - Nice snapz, in my humble opinion. Did you have an op? Use a filter?
Ahh good.
I do have a GoPro, and others, but no pics. Remember when Venus transited the sun? Maybe ten years ago. Got some pics of that.
Yes, I do - Great show. I do not have a go pro. Mine are varied. I used a pair of goggles to block and snap. Worked out fantastic.
Thoughtful post Roman thanks. A few points

The specs are in the downward facing triangle on the right below the photos. Sorry, you may need to translate Japanese to English.
Great shout, thanks for that.

Landline--never got rid of it. Won't get rid of it. For just those reasons you state.
