Wow I never knew there was melatonin in the ear! So... does having my long hair down all the time block my ears from getting enough UV? I do have auditory processing disorder and constant mild tinnitus ...

Thanks for your comment Chat! Sorry I missed it. No I wouldn't worry about your hair, soundwaves and light are powerful enough to penetrate that for sure. When did the mild tinnitus start?

Thanks for the reply. Ooh I’m not sure when in started - years ago. I do have fibromyalgia, possibly since that started though maybe before. I certainly have parts of my brain and nerves that are overactive from that so maybe it’s related, I don’t know.

Thank you for posting this informative and important article.

Anything wireless will cause brain damage in close proximity to the brain. A good measurement meter will give real information. I have got several people to rethink using these kinds of things by pulling out my Cornet on RF mode and showing the harmful Building Biology red danger zone levels, and how the EMF levels rise when the distance to the device is lowered.

Even wired headphones cause damage, but the damage is often in the form of magnetic and electric fields. A good tri field meter can measure RF, electric, and magnetic fields. I have a music exploration and creation hobby and was sad to learn that my expensive and very clear Sennheiser recording engineering headphones had extremely harmful levels of magnetic fields. I was able to find a better option, and now prefer to use speakers as much as possible. There are lower EMF air tube headphones but one must avoid the magnets they are installing on many of them these days, and the quality is not great.

The bottom line of this comment is, one really needs to measure. Every situation is different.

These wired headphones are pretty good quality, and the EMF levels are about the best I have found. Still, I cannot wear them for long without feeling the effects.

These portable air tubes are good for radiation but the quality is not great.

This meter gives good readings for RF, electric, and magnetic fields.

Airpods only cause brain damage if you listen to NPR.

Ha! Good one Steven 🤣Yep. I hate to say it, but I had that kind of brain damage when I was in my twenties- thankfully I reversed it with the help of Dr. Common Sense

fondly remembering my boombox… or as my friends would say ‘you brought the tunes’ 😹

very concerning about kids’ cumulative exposures to EMFs , wearables & 5G… hard to see people with wireless hooked over their ear without cringing 😿.

I know right? I still have a boombox that's hanging by a thread- can't beat that CD sound quality. What disturbs me as well is that people don't realize how much these devices affect everyone else around them, even when turned off! Hope we can try to wake up at least a few. I was there in my twenties- totally blind to it all. Any point in time you "woke up" kitten?

the cancers cropping up in young people correlated with their 24/7 use of devices probably first “woke me up” (started hearing about it at least a decade ago, 4G?) & then the rollout of 5G cloaked by the COVID smokescreen was horrific.

myself as well as one of my sisters and (deceased) father have (had) low platelets for about 15 years and now speculating if it is correlated to the wireless rollout (even though I wasn’t using wireless) … maybe environmental radiation causing stickiness of red blood cells (rouleaux)
