Good info, thanks guys. My favorite little light for night is a red LED bicycle light, which i make a glare-free lightbox/lantern out of by putting it in a translucent small white plastic container with a lid. Portable, gives a nice glow when nearby and useful as a bedside reading lamp. Rechargeable. About the glaring blue-white LED headlights, in a saner civilization, they would be illegal, since they impair the vision of everyone except the driver who uses them. At least they could shut them off during the day! Or maybe all the newer cars have headlights that cannot be turned off?
This was very informative, Roman and Bohdanna! A lot of the stuff you're talking about like the effects of red light against blue-light, and bunch of other stuff is quite enlightening. I think, walks, exercise, and most of all good sleep, away from devices is very crucial to increase overall well-being. I write about similar detoxes, and I've just started. This was great to see, to know there others out there speaking about similar things. How do you handle being online and growing your newsletter and at the same time spending time without devices? I'm struggling with this dilemma and I'm wondering if there are any sustainable ways to work with this!
Once again, you've gained a new fan! This was a great episode!
