Thank you for sharing all this valuable input - especially on replying to letters like these. So you have an analog meter now?

Yes, we have an analog meter now. We also have grid-tied solar, so if they try to tell you that you have to have a smart meter if you have solar that is a complete lie.

Exactly! Thanks again for the insight. One thing - not to put a damper on your victory, which is amazing, but did you know about the dirty electricity (kHz) frequencies many solar inverters can put out?

For sure - it can be challenging to reduce kHz on the line with solar. Here's a podcast I did with Dave Stetzer, who provides filtration (i'm not an affiliate), and a resource by Sam Milham, who has studied the electrification of the US since the 50s: https://romanshapoval.substack.com/i/146696499/additional-resources For what it's worth, the Sunny Boy system produces less kHz
