Namaste Roman and Bohdanna: Thank you for fully discussing this topic of "loneliness" in the world replete with social media "company." Apart from the radiation harm, where the jury still seems to be out, the phone-based internet access has completely changed the mindset of people.
A great majority has its brain part destroyed that looks for situational awareness and self-preservation.
At a time, people frowned upon "free stuff," with suspicion (...too good to be true... and similar ideas), but not any longer.
I will try to take time for this one. I really like the Third Place prompt a great deal. I am a profound believer in the Commons. I find your observations on technology very insightful in this regard. I turned our rental yard into a lawn-to-garden project and it has increased our well-being in so many ways. That is a third place, but also any time I reach out and connect with neighbors and fellow homesteaders including farmers market and community garden or local food sovereignty activism. I also want to get back to holding space for NVC empathy groups, teaching qigong, and basic fireside chats - all spaces for our humanity to cooperatively flourish!
My third place is my garden - my secret garden "Somewhere within us all there is a secret garden ... a garden in which we can all seek refuge when times are rough or retire to in contemplation" (Rolf Lovland).
Hi Angela, thanks for sharing that! We love reading in our garden at dusk, as this is a time when we can better hear God's/Nature's whisper. Growing anything new this year?
Finding a third place was one of the things that have prevented me from losing my mind these past few years. Otherwise my mind would be half way to Jupiter by now.
[1] By God's grace, I am a paid subscriber but somehow everywhere I see "Upgrade to Paid" or similar messages, as if I am a freeloader. If possible, please fix it at your end.
[2] While you are doing excellent work, I do not think it is attaining the popularity it deserves. I believe that quite a few people have their part of the brain destroyed, the part which ensures situational awareness and/or their survival.

Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That was an informative, upbeat, and refreshing (or could certainly lead to one feeling refreshed by connecting as you both described) podcast!
Keep up the hard work, the great products are impressive!
Hi thank you so much for the affirmation and kind words! Good to know this episode had a positive impact.

Thanks for sharing that Jonathan - likewise. No Mars or Jupiter for me...grounded in Earth is always best in the chaos I find.
Greetings: Two thoughts:
