I’m looking forward to listening to this podcast and accessing the other resources mentioned. I had my gallbladder removed about 25 years ago, and no primary care physician or GI specialist ever informed me that I would need to take bile salts on an ongoing basis, in order to avoid digestive problems. I was only alerted to this need by a naturopathic practitioner, about a year ago.
Jonathan - I know you listen to our stuff, but I was really hoping you'd hear this one. Who knew that someone could be a veg bodybuilder? I personally never knew about the amino acid conversion issue, but makes sense.
Namaste Roman & Bohdanna Thank you for letting Mr. Lightheart speak his mind, benefiting all of us. His words reminded me of the Ayurvedic concepts of [1] treating the ability to digest as a digestive fire and [2] a condition called "hidden indigestion" to describe a suboptimal digestion. Of course, the quality of the plant world has been degraded by technology and we have poor eating/cooking habits, but please consider covering in future the gradual decline in bodily functions, such as digestion, as we age.

Awesome.
It's not how much you eat it's how much you digest.
It's great hearing about stories counter to the 1g/Ib of protein narrative.

Yeah you had mentioned him before but I got sidetracked and so when I saw who it was I was like, “Ohhhh!!!!“
